Updates
IrritatedSo its been a while since I gave anyone on DA any updates, I might as well let you in on whats been going on in my life.
CANCER:
I'm down to four more shots of chemo, I wish there weren't ANY left, but unfortunately there are still some left. You know what sucks? Getting a shot the day before Valentines Day, and over Spring Break ugh. After that, I have about a month of radiation to go through, then I'm done supposedly with the whole deal. Anyway, I should be done with the shots in late March, so I need to go out and do something in celebration of that. I'm going to buy myself a chocolate cake!
DRAWING:
I haven't been drawing much lately, because well...chemo takes a lot out of you, plus school. Actually I shouldn't even use school as an excuse, but chemo is pretty legit for not drawing stuff. :< I swear I'll draw more stuff when I'm done with treatments!
IN OTHER NEWS:
I almost had a heart attack yesterday when we had to take my pet bird into the animal hospital. Apparantly he managed to get about the size of a quarter-full of lint stuck in his throat. I marvel at my bird sometimes. He turned out to be okay, but it was so scary for me, because I had bad experiences with bird doctors in the past -ahem- killed my former bird. *coff coff*
I took up knitting. Does that sound weird? Nobody I know does it anymore, except for older people. But I managed to make a scarf fairly successfully, which I'm proud of.
Looking forward to June. Getting a group together and taking a trip :3
And that's pretty much it for now. If I'm able to I'll try doing more photoshop stuff. Bai!
