Actually I was only gone for like three days and nobody really noticed LOL! So I went on my convention trip to Califur, which turned out to be quite the trip. For those of you who don't know, Califur is in fact a "furry" convention. Now before anyone starts pointing fingers and saying, ew you're furry that's gross! listen to what I have to say.
The convention itself was rather fun, with a huge emphasis on the word "fun". Everybody there was nice, friendly and polite, nobody got groped, (which trust me happens all the time at comic con.) And it was a very nice environment to be in. The hotel was nice, it had a large swimming pool, good food and drinks were served there, the artist tables were full of some of the coolest stuff I hadn't seen in quite some time, the dances went on for hours, you got to see everyone's costumes they had made, (I even saw an Eevee xD) I got to wear my R.R. Hood outfit I had put together, they had game rooms, and a few videogame/anime art tables and overall I had an amazing time.

I personally would even go as far to say that it was better than comic con. Though my anime friends would say otherwise. It's definitely a different experience, I'll say that much. But it was a blast, and I had fun.

I even got a couple of pictures done of my fursona, which I find to be pretty darn cute. One was by a random person in the hallway


and the other by Michele Light, who does really cute stuff.

If you guys ever get a chance to go to a convention, my suggestion would be to go with a group of friends who have been to the con before, otherwise you'll be very confused on how things work there.
Even if you aren't a "furry" don't be deterred by the convention, they have some cool stuff there, and as an artist you can appreciate some of the stuff you find there.
If I can get my hands on any pictures of my outfit, I'll try to post them as soon as I can!
